We have great news! ECOCAT 2 has been selected for funding and will be developed as a coordinated project, marking a new step forward in the research into sustainable CO₂ valorization technologies.
The project aims to develop advanced porous materials with enhanced catalytic properties capable of transforming CO₂ into high-value organic compounds. By exploring new catalytic materials and conversion processes, ECOCAT 2 seeks to contribute to more efficient and sustainable ways of using CO₂ as a valuable resource.
The ultimate goal is to support the transition toward a circular carbon economy, reducing dependence on chemicals derived from fossil fuels and promoting the reuse of carbon in industrial processes.
At EDIBON, we are proud to continue contributing to this project alongside our industrial partners SEPIOLSA, IQE Group, Repsol, Moeve, and Johnson Matthey.
Through collaboration and innovation, ECOCAT 2 represents another step toward developing technologies that can contribute to a more sustainable and circular industry.
We continue moving forward toward a more sustainable future!
