That is why we are proud to announce the installation of several of our equipment at the<strong> Advanced Power Grid Laboratory at Alfred University,<\/strong> a significant step in strengthening education and research in renewable energy. <\/p>\n<p>We had the honor of installing our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/sistemas-de-potencia-de-micro-redes\">AEL-MGP<\/a><\/strong> (Microgrid Power Systems), specifically designed to provide a complete educational experience\u2014both theoretical and practical\u2014on the operation of microgrid systems.<\/p>\n<p>Microgrids are playing an increasingly important role in today\u2019s global energy landscape, as they enable greater energy autonomy, more efficient resource management, and optimal integration of renewable sources. Therefore, having advanced training equipment that simulate these systems is essential for preparing the professionals of tomorrow. <\/p>\n<p>The installation was complemented by our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-energia-convencional\"><strong>PWP-CE (Conventional Energy Power Plant) <\/strong><\/a>which serves as the foundation, ensuring frequency and voltage stability. Additional modules simulate the primary technologies used in microgrids: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-energia-eolica\"><strong>PWP-WE (Wind Generation):<\/strong><\/a> Enables the analysis of wind power generation, variability, and integration into the system.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-energia-hidroelectrica\"><strong>PWP-HE (Hydroelectric Generation):<\/strong><\/a> Simulates a hydro plant to study its regulatory capabilities.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-energia-fotovoltaica\"><strong>PWP-PE (Photovoltaic Generation): <\/strong><\/a>Reproduces the behavior of a solar plant, focusing on irradiance and inverter performance.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-almacenamiento-de-energia-en-bateria\"><strong>PWP-BE (Battery Energy Storage): <\/strong><\/a>Demonstrates how energy can be stored to offset the variability of renewables.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edibon.com\/es\/planta-de-potencia-de-almacenamiento-de-energia-con-disco-de-inercia\"><strong>PWP-FE (Flywheel Energy Storage):<\/strong><\/a> Offers insights into kinetic energy storage as a method for grid stabilization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These components enable the design of hybrid configurations, integration of diverse storage technologies, and in-depth analysis of a microgrid\u2019s dynamic behavior.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0262259 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0262259\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Technology Supporting a Sustainable Energy Transition<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d77c338 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d77c338\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since our beginnings, EDIBON has been committed to the development of educational technologies that facilitate practical, realistic, and challenge-oriented learning.
