{"id":27439,"date":"2024-12-18T22:46:45","date_gmt":"2024-12-18T22:46:45","guid":{"rendered":"blog.edibon.comsetting-up-at-the-university-of-trinidad-and-tobago\/"},"modified":"2025-01-31T16:51:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-31T16:51:12","slug":"setting-up-at-the-university-of-trinidad-and-tobago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.edibon.com\/en\/setting-up-at-the-university-of-trinidad-and-tobago\/","title":{"rendered":"Setting up at the University of Trinidad and Tobago"},"content":{"rendered":"<style>\/*! elementor - v3.20.0 - 10-04-2024 *\/<br \/>.elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=\".svg\"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block}<\/style>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"blog.edibon.comwp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/454-2.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" srcset=\"blog.edibon.comwp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/454-2.jpg 450w, blog.edibon.comwp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/454-2.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"549\" height=\"412\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently, we have had the pleasure of making an installation at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/uttmarketing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Trinidad and Tobago<\/a><\/strong> There we installed our: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/hydrostatic-pressure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hydrostatic Pressure Unit (FME08)<\/a><\/strong> that allows to study the center of pressures with a partially or totally submerged quadrant. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/metacentric-height-demostration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metacentric Height Demonstration Unit (FME11)<\/a><\/strong>that allows the study of the stability of a floating object by calculating its metacentric height. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/service-unit-for-qrc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flow Visualization in Channels Unit (FME09)<\/a><\/strong> that allows the visualization of liquid spillage phenomena in weirs and the study of objects submerged in a fluid stream (aerodynamics). <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/sediment-transport-demonstration-channel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sediment Transport Demonstration Channel (CAS)<\/a><\/strong>, that allows demonstration of the full range of bedforms that arise in a mobile bed as the slope and \/ or flow are increased. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/computer-controlled-series-parallel-pumps-bench\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Computer Controlled Series\/Parallel Pumps Bench (PBSPC)<\/a><\/strong>, that was designed to demonstrate the operational advantages of parallel or series operation, depending on the required duty. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/edibon.com\/en\/computer-controlled-flow-channels-section-80-x-300-mm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Computer Controlled Flow Channels (CFC)<\/a><\/strong> It is always a pleasure to be able to return to this university to install our units. We expect the students can learn a lot with them.
