Setting up at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain)

At EDIBON, we are proud to contribute to the advancement of chemical engineering education by providing state-of-the-art laboratory solutions. Recently, we had the privilege of installing several of our specialized equipment at the Department of Materials and Process Engineering of the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering (IMMC) at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) in Belgium.

Our installation included the Computer Controlled Chemical Reactors Training System (QRQC) along with its Base and Service Unit (QRUBI), offering students an advanced platform for understanding chemical reaction dynamics under controlled conditions. Additionally, we installed the Tubular Flow Reactor (QRFT), the Isothermal Reactor with Stirrer and Distillation (QRIAD/D), and the Computer Controlled Continuous Distillation Unit (UDCC). These systems together create a fully equipped chemical engineering laboratory, designed to provide students with hands-on, practical learning experiences that complement theoretical knowledge.

The creation of this modern laboratory at UCLouvain allows students to engage directly with cutting-edge equipment, fostering skills that are essential for future professionals in chemical and process engineering. By combining theory with practice, students gain a deeper understanding of reaction processes, distillation techniques, and process control, preparing them for real-world challenges in the industry.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) for their trust in EDIBON.

At EDIBON, we remain committed to supporting educational institutions worldwide by providing high-quality, hands-on training equipment. Together, we can continue to advance engineering education and empower the next generation of professionals.
