At EDIBON, we had the honor of contributing to the development of Ethiopian Airlines University (EAU), the training center of one of Africa’s most prominent airlines.
This project reflects the increasing commitment of private companies to invest in high-quality technical education. In this case, Ethiopian Airlines has taken a forward-thinking approach by focusing on training a new generation of highly qualified professionals in key areas such as Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanics, among others.
To support this mission, EDIBON has supplied EAU with a selection of our most advanced technical teaching units, specifically designed to offer hands-on, accurate, and comprehensive learning experiences. The students will now be able to experiment and learn using the following equipment:
- Computer Controlled Gas Laws Unit (Boyle and Gay-Lussac Law)
- Computer Controlled Expansion Processes of a Perfect Gas Unit (TEPGC)
- Computer Controlled Temperature Measurement Unit, (TMTC)
- Computer Controlled Heat Transfer Series (TSTCC)
- Flow Boiling Demonstration Unit (TFEB)
- Computer Controlled Boiling Heat Transfer Unit (TCEC)
- Universal Material Testing Unit (EEU/20KN)
- The 300 Nm Charpy and Izod Impact Testing Unit ( EEICI/300)
- Data Acquisition System and Sensors (BDAS)
- Computer Controlled Fatigue Testing Unit (EEFC)
- Crank Mechanism (MBI)
- Hooke’s Joint Mechanism (MUN)
- Dynamic Multistage Gear Train Analysis Unit (DMGT)
- Centrifugal Governor Unit (CGU)
- Hydrostatics Bench and Fluid Properties, (BHI)
- Air Flow Studies Unit (HECA)
- Pressure Measurement Unit (HEMP)
- Aerodynamic Testing Bench (ATBB)
- Computer Controlled Aerodynamic Tunnel, 50 x 250 mm
The installation of this equipment will not only provide specialized technical training but also promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in key technologies within the industrial and aeronautical sectors.
At EDIBON, we are proud to support organizations that recognize the value of practical education to strengthen their teams and ensure a more skilled future workforce. Thank you, Ethiopian Airlines, for placing your trust in us for such an ambitious and meaningful project.
