UPIK is a pivotal institution in Uganda, dedicated to producing highly skilled professionals in the petroleum and energy sectors. By integrating EDIBON’s advanced equipment into their training programs, UPIK can provide its students with hands-on experience and prepare them to excel in real-world engineering and technical challenges.
The following EDIBON applications have been successfully installed at UPIK:
- Advanced AC Electrical Motors Application (AEL-ACEMT): This system equips students with the knowledge and skills to analyze and operate alternating current motors, a fundamental component in many industrial and energy systems.
- Energy Efficiency in Electrical Motors Application (AEL-EEEM): Designed to teach energy optimization techniques, this application focuses on reducing energy consumption while maintaining performance, a critical topic in sustainable energy practices.
- Automatic Control Operations II Application (AEL-CM3): By introducing advanced concepts in automation, this application provides students with the expertise to design and implement automatic control systems used in various industries.
This collaboration would not have been possible without the dedication of individuals who championed the project from inception to completion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nelson Friday, Christopher Niwamanya, and Abdulhamid Ibrahim Hamad for their tireless efforts and commitment to ensuring the successful installation and integration of these applications.
Thanks to this joint effort, UPIK is now better equipped to deliver top-tier technical education, enabling its students to acquire the skills they need to succeed in the petroleum and energy industries.
At EDIBON, we take pride in contributing to the global advancement of education and look forward to more opportunities to support institutions like UPIK in their mission to shape the future of engineering and technical professionals.
