Setting up at University of Life Sciences “King Mihai i” of Timisoara (USVT)

At EDIBON, we continue to strengthen our commitment to innovation and technical education by providing universities and research centers around the world with state-of-the-art equipment for hands-on learning. We had the pleasure of completing a new installation at the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai i” of Timisoara, one of Romania’s leading institutions in the field of life sciences and food technology.

During this project, we installed two of our most comprehensive training equipment: the Pilot Plant for the Production of Cured Pieces and Sausages (CA00/CUPS) and the Pilot Plant for the Production of Cooked Pieces and Sausages (CA00/COPS). Both pilot plants are composed of several advanced equipment designed and manufactured by EDIBON, including the Computer Controlled and Touch Screen Meat Mincer (MM/CTS), among others.

These pilot plants allow students and researchers to gain a deep understanding of the complete meat production process, from raw material preparation to curing, cooking, and quality control. Through real-time monitoring, process automation, and data acquisition, users can study production parameters, improve efficiency, and explore innovative techniques within the food industry.

This installation represents an important step forward in bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practice, offering the university’s students a unique opportunity to work directly with professional-grade technology that mirrors real production environments.

We sincerely thank the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai i” of Timisoara for their trust and collaboration. At EDIBON, we remain committed to supporting institutions worldwide in their pursuit of excellence, innovation, and technical advancement in education and research.
