New installation at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao

At EDIBON, we are proud to continue expanding our global presence by supporting universities and institutions that are committed to excellence in technical education. Recently, our representatives, Mr. Demetrio Jr. Galvez Estellero and Ms. Michelle Urbano, had the pleasure of visiting the Department of Civil Engineering at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, located in the Philippines, to represent EDIBON and oversee a new installation

During this visit, we installed the CF80/2 unit, one of the selectable versions of our Flow Channels (section: 80×300 mm) (CF) equipment, featuring a 2.5-meter-long channel. This advanced teaching unit is designed to help students and researchers study the principles of fluid mechanics and analyze open-channel flow phenomena, including water surface profiles, energy losses, and hydraulic jumps.

The CF80/2 model provides users with the flexibility to conduct a wide range of experiments by adding different accessories and modules, enabling a comprehensive and practical understanding of hydraulic behavior. This hands-on approach to learning allows students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, a fundamental aspect of EDIBON’s mission to enhance engineering education through practical experience.

We sincerely thank the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao for their warm welcome and trust in our technology. Collaborations like this reaffirm EDIBON’s commitment to equipping educational institutions worldwide with high-quality, reliable, and innovative teaching solutions that foster both learning and research.

We look forward to continuing to work together and contributing to the training of future engineers in the Philippines.
